Road Trip

For the holiday weekend we took a much needed break away. We (all four of us) went to my parents house in NJ.

It was a great weekend. On Saturday night we went to a local basball game (Somerset Patriots) I wish my camera battery had not died. I will have to get pictures from mom because Ian got to participate in one of the between inning games (a sack race) and my mom got to do the shell game.

Sunday we had kind of a lazy day, the boys and I taught Oma how to play Carcassonne. We had a wonderful Sunday dinner and then went to the Italian Festival in Scotch Plains. Of course we went back to the house from there with plenty of desert treats.
